Trust no one. Investigate everything. Survive the round.
Trouble in Mineville is a social-deduction Minecraft minigame where trust is dangerous and every player could be lying. Innocents must survive and expose the Traitors, Detectives must investigate clues and lead the team, while Traitors secretly eliminate everyone without getting caught. Watch carefully, choose who to trust, and survive until the truth is revealed.
How TIMV Works
A round begins with hidden roles, secret objectives, and a map full of players who may or may not be telling the truth.
The core idea is simple: a group of players are placed inside one map, but hidden among them are Traitors who secretly try to kill the Innocents. Innocents do not know who the Traitors are, so they must watch player behavior, collect clues, and cooperate with Detectives to uncover the killer before it is too late.
The game is not only about fighting. It is also about intelligence, communication, persuasion, and timing. An Innocent player may be falsely accused, while a Traitor may successfully convince everyone that they are safe. Every decision matters, and every action can change the outcome of the round.
Roles
Each role has a different purpose. Understanding every role is the key to winning.
Innocents
Their goal is to survive until the end of the round and expose the Traitors. Innocents do not know any player's identity, so they rely on observation, reports, and cooperation with others. If they see suspicious behavior or witness a player killing someone, they can warn the rest of the team.
Traitors
Their objective is to eliminate Innocents and Detectives without being exposed. Traitors know each other and can secretly work together. They must act like Innocents, choose the right moment to attack, and use deception to shift suspicion away from themselves.
Detectives
Detectives are part of the Innocent team, but they have a stronger role in revealing the truth. They can investigate bodies or use special tools that help identify killers or protect players. Their presence is important because they guide the team and help uncover the Traitors.
Gameplay Flow
Every round is different, but the structure is easy to understand.
Game Objective
Winning depends on your role and how well your team plays.
Innocent Victory
Innocents usually win when all Traitors are eliminated or discovered before they can take control of the round.
Traitor Victory
Traitors win when they successfully kill enough Innocents and Detectives to control the round without being stopped.
Every Choice Matters
A wrong accusation can hurt the Innocents, while a smart lie can keep a Traitor alive. Every move can change the game.
Tips
Use these tips to survive longer and make smarter decisions.
Do not walk alone
Staying near trusted players can make it harder for Traitors to kill you secretly.
Watch suspicious behavior
Pay attention to players who follow others, run away from bodies, or avoid questions.
Do not accuse without proof
False accusations can confuse the team and give Traitors an advantage.
Beware fake Innocents
Traitors may act friendly, help in discussions, or pretend to be innocent to avoid suspicion.
